Questions & answers
How fast does it dry on the lathe?
Under 10 minutes to the touch while the piece is spinning on the lathe, and ready to recoat in about 10 minutes. Off the lathe, allow 10-30 minutes to the touch and 30+ minutes between coats.
Why is it pink in the bottle?
That is normal. It looks slightly pink in the bottle and dries to an amber tone.
Do I need to wet sand it?
No. For more sheen, dry polish with Mirka Abralon (1500-4000 grit) or Micro-Mesh (4000-8000).
How do I apply it?
Brush or spray. Plan on 3 coats; an 8 oz bottle covers about 38 sq ft.
When can the piece be used?
Light use after 7-10 days, fully cured at 21 days. It dries to a gloss sheen.
