The Protimeter Aquant (BLD5770) is a non-invasive, pinless moisture meter for locating moisture behind and beneath coverings such as tile, wood flooring, and vinyl without marking the surface. It's the pinless companion to the SurveyMaster, built for restoration technicians and surveyors who need to map a wet area quickly before deciding where to cut in with a pin meter or open the wall.
An RF sensing system reads through the surface to about 3/4 inch (19mm) deep and reports a relative value on a 60-1000 scale on an enlarged backlit LCD display. The meter runs on 2 AA batteries with roughly three times the battery life of the previous generation, includes automatic calibration checks, and connects over Bluetooth to the Protimeter Connect app to log, time-stamp, and export readings from a phone. It measures 7.5 x 2.75 x 1.9 inches and weighs 7 oz with batteries installed, and carries Protimeter's standard two-year warranty.
