The Protimeter Mini (BLD2000) is a compact pin-type moisture meter for quick spot checks in wood, drywall, plaster, masonry, and concrete. It's built as a pocket meter for surveyors, builders, and restoration technicians who need a fast go/no-go reading rather than a full diagnostic instrument.
Two sharp measuring pins read the material and report a numeric value on a 6-90 scale, backed by a color-coded LED array that flags the reading as dry (green), at risk (yellow), or wet (red) - roughly under 17%, 17-20%, and over 20% on the wood scale. Calibration data covers about 150 wood species. The meter runs on one 9V battery and ships with an extension pin probe, a check device for verifying calibration, and a belt pouch.
Push the pins into the material, read the LED color for an instant call, and switch to the extension probe for spots the built-in pins can't reach.
