Our 6-pc Cabinetmaking Set is an expanded Raised Panel Door set with bits for drawer fronts and door edges with our Exciting New Patented Chip-Free Rail & Stile Set! The roundover rail & stile is the New Pantented Chip-Free which consists of new radiused-corner-geometry that relieves stress as it prevents the edge tear-out that is a common problem with other brands. It has a full 1/2" engagement for stronger joints and easier to measure door part sizes. Large 3-1/2" diameter cove raised panel bit includes a back cutter with a large bearing, which allows machining of the front and back of the panel in the same pass for a safe cut on arched panel doors, giving you exactly the thickness you need for the panel. An additional smaller bearing (16mm) is included to allow you to make the second separate pass so the panel fits exactly in the stil and rails. The drawer front bit is made much larger in diameter for a deeper cut, plus we added the roundover at the bottom to give it an ogee look. Now your drawer front matches the door front edge detail. The door edge bit was also made larger, plus shallower to allow for ease of mounting 35mm European hinges. The matching flush trim bit has a shear angle to produce superior cuts. Machines materials from 3/4" to 7/8" thick. All of our bit sets are packaged in a beautiful, custom-designed hardwood case to keep your bits safe, clean and easy to find for many year of service.
