This 1/4" drill bit adapter converts a standard round-shank twist drill into a 1/4" hex power bit, so it runs in a quick-change chuck or impact driver instead of a keyed drill chuck. A collet inside the adapter grips the round shank; because the collet compresses, one adapter accepts a small range of bit diameters around the size marked.
