The Tramex RWS Roof and Wall Scanner is a non-invasive impedance scanner for finding moisture in low-slope roofing, EIFS, and foam insulation systems without cutting or coring the membrane. It's built for roofing contractors, building envelope consultants, and property inspectors who need to trace leaks or map wet areas across a roof or wall before deciding where to core-cut for confirmation.
The scanner offers four sensitivity ranges: high and low sensitivity Roofing modes, and high and low sensitivity EIFS/Foam Roof Insulation modes, each suited to a different membrane or insulation type. Signal penetration reaches about 4 inches (100mm) below the surface, with a comparative 0-100 reading shown on a large analog dial. It runs on a single 9V battery and ships with a telescopic handle for scanning without bending over on a roof, plus a leather carrying case.
